Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the getrefinery.nl website and Refinery commercial offers: Readiness Scan, 14-day Shadow Baseline, Proof-Backed Repair Pilot, Production Trust Gateway, and Enterprise Evidence Layer.

Service description

Refinery provides an operational data trust gateway for governed CRM, ERP, and AI-bound paths. Capabilities depend on offer tier, connector certification status, and executed agreement scope.

Commercial offers

Readiness Scan — no-write path assessment; no production writeback
14-day Shadow Baseline — read-only or shadow measurement on one path
Proof-Backed Repair Pilot — governed repair with policy and verified writeback where certified
Production Trust Gateway — continuous governance on certified paths
Enterprise Evidence Layer — advanced compliance and runtime options under custom agreement

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to process data you are not authorized to handle
Do not submit malware, attack infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access
Do not misrepresent connector readiness or compliance certifications
Do not use public forms to transmit secrets or regulated data without agreement

No false compliance claims

Refinery does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA compliance, or other formal certifications unless explicitly stated in a executed enterprise agreement supported by evidence.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Refinery liability under website and standard commercial terms is limited to fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch or EU law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Enterprise agreements

Production and Enterprise Evidence Layer customers operate under executed order forms or master agreements that supersede these website terms where they conflict.
